HOW IT WORKS

From first messageto settled funds.

No account to open and no app to learn. You describe what you need, a person prices it in writing, and you decide whether to go ahead.

THE SHORT VERSION

Three steps, and you can stop at any of them.

Everything below is the same three steps in more detail. If you only read this section, you have the shape of it.

  1. 1

You tell us what you need

The direction, the rough amount and how to reach you. Two minutes on the form, or say it in the chat and a person picks it up.

  2. 2

    We come back to you

Usually the same working day, by phone or email — your choice. We ask whatever we need to quote it accurately.

  3. 3

    You decide

Cost and process in writing. Read it, sleep on it, ask more questions, or walk away. Nothing proceeds until you confirm.

IN DETAIL

What happens at each stage.

Written out so you know what is coming, including the stage most people are unprepared for.

  1. 01

    The enquiry

You send the direction, the rough size and a way to reach you. Nothing is committed and no checks have started. If we are not the right people for what you need, this is where we say so.

    Two minutes.
  2. 02

    The conversation

A person calls or emails. We ask what we need to price it properly — the asset, the currency you want, the timing, and whether it is personal or corporate. You ask us whatever you like.

    One call, usually.
  3. 03

    The written quote

Cost, process, what we need from you and what happens in what order. In writing, so you are comparing something concrete rather than remembering a phone call.

Read it at your own pace.
  4. 04

    Checks

Identity, and for larger amounts where the funds came from. We tell you the full list before you start gathering anything, so it is one round rather than five.

    The part worth preparing for.
  5. 05

    Conversion and settlement

Once you have confirmed and the checks are cleared, we carry out the conversion and the proceeds settle to the account or wallet already agreed with you.

You are told when it moves.
  6. 06

    The record

A written record of what was converted, when and at what cost — the thing your accountant, your auditor or your future self will actually want.

    Kept, not screenshotted.

THE CHECKS

The stage worth preparing for.

UK anti-money-laundering rules apply to conversions of this size. None of it is unusual — it is only ever a problem when it arrives as a surprise.

01

Who you are

Photo identification and proof of address for you, or for the people behind the company. Standard UK anti-money-laundering practice.

02

Where the funds came from

For larger amounts we ask how the assets or the fiat were acquired, and for the paperwork that shows it. We tell you what will satisfy it before you start gathering anything.

03

Where it is going

The bank account or wallet the proceeds settle to, and confirmation that it belongs to you. Third-party payments are a different conversation.

04

Company structure, if it applies

For a business conversion: incorporation details, the people who own or control it, and authority to instruct us.

WHERE WE STAND

What we do, and what we will not do.

01

We handle the conversion

You tell us the direction and the amount. We quote it, explain the checks, and carry it out once you have agreed.

02

We do not advise

We will not tell you whether to buy, sell or hold, or what an asset is likely to do. That decision is yours before you come to us.

03

We are not an exchange

There is no account to open, no order book and no app. A person handles your conversion from the first message to settlement.

04

We do not run a portfolio for you

We do not manage holdings, take discretionary decisions or offer a product you invest in. Each conversion is a one-off piece of work.

QUESTIONS

The process, answered.

At what point am I committed?+

When you accept the written quote, and not before. An enquiry commits you to nothing, a conversation commits you to nothing, and a quote you have not accepted commits you to nothing.

How fast do you reply?+

Usually the same working day. If you send an enquiry late in the evening or over a weekend it will be the next working day.

Can I speak to someone before filling anything in?+

Yes. Use the chat on any page. It starts with an assistant that takes the basics, and asking for a person hands it straight to one.

What if I change my mind halfway through?+

Then it stops. Up to the point a conversion is executed you can walk away, and we will tell you plainly if anything you have already done cannot be undone.

Do you cold-call people afterwards?+

No. We contact you about the enquiry you made. If you would rather we did not hold your details at all, ask and we will delete them.

Tell us what you need converting.

We come back to you with the cost and the process in writing. No obligation, and nothing proceeds until you say so.
