BUY CRYPTOASSETS
Fiat in.Cryptoassets to your wallet.
You have decided what you want. Tell us the amount and the asset, and we come back with the cost, the process and the checks in writing — before anything is committed.
WHO THIS IS FOR
For the purchase that does not fit through an app.
Small purchases belong on an exchange, and we will say so. The ones that reach us are usually larger, corporate, or need to be documented properly the first time.
You have decided, not been persuaded
You already know what you want to buy. We handle the conversion; we will not tell you it is a good idea.
The amount is beyond a card payment
Large enough that card limits and exchange caps turn one purchase into six, each with its own fee.
You want it done once, properly
One conversation, one settlement, and documentation you can hand to an accountant afterwards.
A company is buying
The funds are corporate, so the paperwork and the authority to instruct matter as much as the conversion itself.
THE PROCESS
Three steps, and you can stop at any of them.
- 1
Tell us what you want
The asset, the rough amount in the currency you hold, and where it should end up.
- 2
We quote it and explain the checks
Cost, process and what we will need from you — in writing, before you commit to anything.
- 3
Checks, then delivery
Identity and, where the size calls for it, source of funds. Once cleared, the assets go to the wallet you have confirmed.
WHAT WE WILL ASK FOR
The checks, before you start rather than halfway through.
UK anti-money-laundering rules apply to a conversion this size. None of it is unusual, and all of it is easier when you know it is coming.
Who you are
Photo identification and proof of address for you, or for the people behind the company. Standard UK anti-money-laundering practice.
Where the funds came from
For larger amounts we ask how the assets or the fiat were acquired, and for the paperwork that shows it. We tell you what will satisfy it before you start gathering anything.
Where it is going
The bank account or wallet the proceeds settle to, and confirmation that it belongs to you. Third-party payments are a different conversation.
Company structure, if it applies
For a business conversion: incorporation details, the people who own or control it, and authority to instruct us.
WHERE WE STAND
What we do, and what we will not do.
We handle the conversion
You tell us the direction and the amount. We quote it, explain the checks, and carry it out once you have agreed.
We do not advise
We will not tell you whether to buy, sell or hold, or what an asset is likely to do. That decision is yours before you come to us.
We are not an exchange
There is no account to open, no order book and no app. A person handles your conversion from the first message to settlement.
We do not run a portfolio for you
We do not manage holdings, take discretionary decisions or offer a product you invest in. Each conversion is a one-off piece of work.
QUESTIONS
Buying, answered.
Which asset should I buy?+
We will not answer that. We do not advise on what to buy, when to buy it or how much — nothing on this site is a recommendation. Come to us once you have decided and we will handle the conversion.
What does it cost?+
It depends on the asset, the size and the currency going in, so we quote your case rather than publishing one number. You get the cost in writing before anything proceeds.
Where do the assets go?+
To a wallet you control and have confirmed with us. We will talk through what you need in place before anything is sent, and we would rather slow down than send assets to an address nobody has checked.
Can I pay by card?+
Tell us how you intend to fund it and we will confirm what we can accept for your case. Payment methods are one of the things we set out in writing before you commit.
What do I need to provide?+
Identity documents, and for larger amounts evidence of where the fiat came from. We tell you exactly what is needed up front — see the page on identity checks.
Could I lose money?+
Yes. Cryptoassets are high risk and their value can fall as well as rise; you could lose everything you put in. They are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Read the full risk warning before you decide anything.
Tell us what you want to buy.
We come back to you with the cost and the process in writing. No obligation, and nothing proceeds until you say so.
